Eld Gin

Eld Gin is an elite soldier in the Survey Corps. He was hand-picked by Captain Levi and placed in the Special Operations Squad, of which he is second-in-command.

Eld is a responsible and firm leader with a strong sense of duty. He does not talk much, but when he does, he did so bluntly and in a straightforward manner. He also seems to have been a veteran of sorts as he teased Petra Ral and Oluo Bozad about how they acted during their first expedition. He also seems to hold some sort of belief of what makes a true soldier, saying that a kill record alone does not make a great soldier.
