He is the King of the Kingdom of Clays—the nation that houses the world's oldest labyrinth, the "Labyrinth of No Return"—and the father of Lynne and Rein. In his days as an adventurer, he explored the "Labyrinth of the Lost" alongside the Six Sovereigns, ultimately discovering the Black Blade deep within its innermost depths.

Although he has since retired from adventuring, he remains one of the kingdom's most formidable assets; having sensed the ominous atmosphere now shrouding the nation, he remains on high alert.
