Ryuu Harajima

Harajima Ryuu is the no. 1 boxer in the Japan bantamweight division. He is from the Tenoji Boxing club. He fought Joe after his match with Tiger Ozaki.

~!The match with Harajima and Joe ended in round 3 with Joe losing by TKO due to him throwing up.!~

After Carlos fought Nangou it was his turn to fight Harajima. The match carried out like a normal boxing match, if not worse.

~!Season 1 and manga: During the end of round 4 Harajima hears a loud whistle coming from the side of the ring and gets distracted. The one who whistled was Robert Harry, Carlos' manager. Harajima gets distracted and that's when Carlos sneaks in a very powerful punch with an elbow blow that goes unnoticed. The bell then rings straight after. Harajima went back to his corner where his coach then explains the situation and how they're gonna win. Harajima is not responding and that's when the coach realizes that Harajima is unconscious. Fearing a KO loss he explains that he can't carry on the match anymore due to Harajima having foot cramps. Harajima then gets woken up in the dressing room with a bucket of water where he then explains to his coach that the punch Carlos sneaked in must've knocked him out.

Season 2: We get to see parts of Carlos' and Harajimas match on TV, when then see Carlos hit Harajima after the bell rings. Then we see that Carlos won because Harajima couldn't fight anymore.!~
