Michio's father. A scientist working for the Neo U.N. in order to develop the new Salvator-model that is Mark Sein. Left the island five years before the events of Fafner in the Azure: Dead Aggressor, taking his son with him.

In Dead Agressor: Communicated with the Festum Mjölnir. Has a conversation with Kazuki after he's been captured by the NUN, offering him another way of living outside fighting. ~!When the Human Army's Moldova base is raided by Festum, he asks Mjölnir to hand Mark Sein over to Kazuki. He then hands his research files to Maya before self-destructing along with his lab to keep his research out of Festum hands.!~
