An average guy, for better or worse. Besides being an idol, he is also an aspiring actor. While Tomoya is serious and caring, he is easily swayed by his surroundings. With a mild, humble voice, he delivers energetic, vigorous performances.

Serious and determined, Tomoya is someone who always tries his hardest in everything he does. Despite lacking any natural talent, he can be very stubborn once he sets his mind to something, and his resilience and ability to keep trying in the face of any hardship are what other characters find most admirable about him. Tomoya also has something of an inferiority complex, stemming from him seemingly being the only "average" person in an industry full of talented individuals.
